Annual Walk for Breast CanceR
Breast Cancer Awareness and Action has been a pivotal cause for our Managing Partner and CEO Feben and with that, she along with a team of core supporters took the task of organizing Annual Breast Cancer Walks and Awareness campaigns benefitting the Alemtsehay Breast Cancer Foundation in Ethiopia.
The Annual Walk celebrated its 5th Year in 2024 and has raised + ETB 7 million over the years and with over 3000 participants in attendance in its 2024 iteration.
Imagine1day non profit organization and the mai misham project
At DELFE, our commitment to building extends beyond the projects we deliver. Through the leadership and Board involvement with Imagine1day, we support initiatives that expand access to quality education and create lasting opportunities for communities across Ethiopia.
This commitment is currently reflected in the Mai-Misham Primary School Reconstruction Project in Tigray, an initiative to restore one of the area's longstanding schools and provide children with a safe, dignified and functional learning environment. DELFE’s CEO together with her US Board teammates, have championed this project in 2026 with the goal of inaugurating the project in November of 2026. This project will provide access to quality education to + 800 school aged children and indirectly benefit 16,082 individuals and 3222 Households.
